AMEN gratefully marks its tenth anniversary
As AMEN celebrates it's tenth anniversary our Vice Chair writes: Some of our members might know that AMEN came into existence in January 2016. It was formed by the amalgamation of two groups with very similar aims and shared focus on racial justice, namely the Latimer Group and the AMEN CofE. You can read more about its history here . Revd Canon Grace Thomas joins AMEN ExCo
AMEN are delighted to announce that the Revd Canon Grace Thomas has been appointed as Clergy Representative for the Northern Province on the Executive Committee of the Anglican Minority Ethnic Network (AMEN). The appointment, by co-option, was agreed by the AMEN ExCo at their meeting in January and will be brought to the next AGM for reaffirmation. A reflection for Racial Justice Sunday from AMEN's Vice Chair
It is evident from the misguided attempt at espousing what is called ‘Christian Nationalism’ in England that racism is not history yet.
